North Creek
Demo build for a fictional wedding, family, and brand photographer in Ann Arbor. The portfolio is a filterable masonry grid of twelve shots with a lightbox, followed by three packages with published pricing, an FAQ, and an about section. Instead of a plain contact form there's a four-step inquiry funnel — shoot type, date (with an "I'm flexible" option), location, then contact details — with per-step validation so every inquiry lands complete. Choosing a package drops you into the funnel with the shoot type pre-selected.
Full case study: Replacing the photographer contact form with a funnel that quotes itselfread →01 — PROBLEM
Photographer sites are portfolios with a contact page bolted on. A bare "message me" form makes the photographer do a second round of questions before they can even quote.
02 — APPROACH
Kept the site image-first — filterable masonry grid with a lightbox — and replaced the contact page with a four-step inquiry funnel that collects shoot type, date, location, and contact details, validating each step before the next.
03 — OUTCOME
A demo build for a fictional Ann Arbor photographer. Inquiries arrive complete enough to quote from directly, and the funnel starts pre-filled when you click a specific package.
